Oblivia introduces the reader to Dan Mora and Jamie Morgan, Peace Corps volunteers in Bolivia. At a crossroad in their lives, they discover the power of making a difference. Yet when Dan disappears, and Jamie is given the task of finding him, she discovers that nothing is ever as it seems in a country she and Dan have grown to love, a place they call Oblivia.

Oblivia launch at the Booky Joint on Saturday, August 3, 2013, from 1-3 p.m.

My latest novel Oblivia, a finalist in ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year contest in the mystery category, will be officially launched on Saturday, August 3, 2013 with a book signing at the Booky Joint in Mammoth Lakes, CA.  A five-star review of this novel is available at Amazon.  A four-star review is available through Reader Views.  I will be signing copies of my first two prize-winning novels, Back to Normal and Millennial Fears, as well.  Back to Normal won Honorable Mention in ForeWord Magazine's Book of the Year contest, romance category, in 2010.  Millennial Fears placed second in the general fiction category of the 2011 Reader Views Reviewers Choice Award.

The easiest way to obtain my books is to order them from Amazon.  They are available as downloads or as hard copies.

I am busy preparing presentations for two book clubs in Mammoth Lakes during my summer vacation here.  I have returned to work at the International School of Port of Spain in Trinidad and Tobago and am honored to have had my novels featured at their annual book fair last December.  My three novels have also been selected by two book clubs in Port of Spain.

The question I am constantly asked is, Will there be a book #4?  I have a story I want to tell that is based on my father's family.  I have written some of it, but it is still in a very tentative form.  If I can get my current job down to 40 hours/week next year, I will write a rough draft.  Otherwise I'll have to put my writing career on hold until I retire from teaching for the second time.

That's it for now.  Happy Reading!
